Reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express. Cash and Travelers checks are also accepted forms of payment.
A booking fee of $35 is charged at the time you make your reservation. This amount will be credited to your invoice on arrival. In case of cancellation, this amount is non-refundable.
A two night minimum stay is required. A one night reservation may be possible depending on our availability. Please call to inquire. All one-night reservations must be paid in advance.
Notification of cancellation is required five (5) prior to your scheduled day of arrival. Cancellation of your entire reservation or any part of your reservation after that date will result in a charge to your credit card for all the nights you cancel. If we are able to rebook your room, we will issue a refund on your credit card for the nights we are able to rebook. All cancellations will incur a $35 non-refundable booking fee.
Front Desk Hours
The Front Desk is open from 7:30 AM to 10:00 PM Monday through Friday and 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday. The front desk closes at 2:00 PM on all major holidays.
We guarantee that your room will be ready for occupancy by 3 PM, our official check-in time. We also understand that you may be arriving in Washington DC earlier than 3 PM. That’s no problem. We are here all day. Just come by the Guest House and leave your luggage with us. If your room is ready early, you are welcome to settle in and make yourself at home! If your room is not ready, please join us for a cup of tea or coffee and get your maps and Metro instructions before you head off to see the city or attend your meetings.
You may check in until 8:45 PM Monday through Friday and 7:45 PM Saturday and Sunday. In case of emergency; a late Check-in until 10:00 PM Monday through Friday and 9:00 PM Saturday and Sunday can be arranged for a $50.00 fee. We are sorry, but there are no check-ins after the stated late check-in hours.
Check-out time is 11:00 AM. You may arrange a late check-out, until noon only, for a fee of $35. We will be glad to hold your luggage for you until 8:00 PM the day of your departure.
Your room rate includes a marvelous continental-plus breakfast. Breakfast is served from 7:30-9:45 AM Monday through Friday and 8:00-10:00 AM Saturday, Sunday and holidays.
On site parking is available for an additional charge. Parking is limited and must be reserved in advance. We are unable to reserve parking for one-night reservations.
The Woodley Park Guest House is a non-smoking property. There is no smoking anywhere on the property, including the house, the porch and the parking area. Smoking in the common areas or guest rooms will incur a penalty equal to two (2) night’s room rental.
We are not able to accommodate young children.
We are not able to accommodate pets.
There are no TV’s or radios in the Guest House. Books, magazines, games and conversation are provided for your enjoyment.
Occupancy of the Guest Rooms is limited to registered guests. Rooms with shared bath are limited to single occupancy.
