We love to eat delicious, healthy food at our Bed and Breakfast in DC – and we love to eat organic whenever we can. Traveling can be difficult from a healthy-eating perspective. We’re not responsible for your lunch and dinner choices, but we can give you some great breakfast choices, including Gluten Free options. Join us for your romantic and adventure filled DC getaways.

Breakfast

Our light, healthy, protein-rich breakfast always includes a hot entree (fritatta, French toast, waffles, omelet), a fresh-cut fruit salad with at least a dozen kinds of ripe fruit; rich and luscious organic honey yogurt; delicious smoked salmon with cream cheese and capers; a platter of assorted cheeses; farm-fresh organic hard-boiled eggs; a selection of hot and cold cereals; a selection of organic breads for toasting and great jams and jellies for spreading; coffee cakes made by our private baker; M. E. Swing’s coffees; assorted teas, and juice.

Breakfast is served from 7:30 – 9:30 AM Monday through Friday and 8:00 – 10:00 AM Saturday, Sunday and holidays at our Dupont Circle Bed and Breakfast. Coffee is usually available about 20 minutes before the breakfast is served so you can enjoy your first cup while you are reading the paper. Whether you’re hurrying out on business or sleeping in on vacation, we’ve got you covered!

Beautiful day? Enjoy coffee and breakfast on the back patio!

Afternoon Snacks

Sightseeing is hungry work and a snack is a welcome sight when you return to the house after a long day. Help yourselves to coffee or tea and a selection of great cookie bars and brownies.

For all of those chocoholics out there, we challenge anyone to find a better brownie than the ones we serve every day!

Evening Wine & Light Snacks

Enjoy a glass of wine – or one of Raymond’s favorite micro-brews – and light snacks every evening from 5:30-7:00 PM at our Dupont Circle B&B. This is a great way to wind down after a day of meetings or sightseeing.

Join us in the living room and trade restaurant recommendations with owners and guests, or enjoy the wine in the privacy of your room as you get ready for a night on the town.

Impromptu Food

Raymond loves to cook and he has built himself a wonderful new kitchen in our Dupont Circle Inn.

On a completely impromptu basis, he may fix his amazing Lebanese Mezze and invite you to gather around the kitchen island and enjoy hummus, tabouleh, falafel sandwiches, and moudardara (lentils, rice and caramelized onions) with yogurt.

You won’t need to go out for dinner!
