Breakfast at Woodley Park

We love to eat healthy food at our DC B&B – and we love to eat organic whenever we can. If you are like us, traveling can be difficult from a healthy-eating perspective. We’re not responsible for your lunch and dinner choices, but we can give you a set of delicious, healthy, breakfast choices. Breakfast always includes home-made granola, a fresh-cut fruit salad; rich and luscious organic honey yogurt; farm-fresh organic hard-boiled eggs; a selection of organic breads for toasting and great jams and jellies for spreading; a selection of hot and cold cereals; Swing’s coffees; assorted teas, and juices.  There is always a daily surprise – waffles, pancakes, and sweet or savory pastries are among the surprises offered recently.  For all of our guests with food sensitivities, we always have gluten-free and lactose-free options.

Breakfast is always fun at our Washington DC B&B. We don’t want you to feel like you’re eating with strangers, so owners and staff are always present to introduce guests and facilitate conversation. Unlike many B&B’s that strictly limit breakfast hours, we serve breakfast from 7:30 – 9:45 AM Monday through Friday and 8:00 – 10:00 AM Saturday, Sunday and holidays. Whether you’re hurrying out on business or sleeping in on vacation, we’ve got you covered!

Early Coffee

For those who would like an early cup of coffee before breakfast is served, coffee is available starting at 7:00 AM Monday through Friday and 7:30 AM on Saturday, Sunday and holidays. If you need coffee – or a full breakfast – even earlier, the neighborhood offers multiple options.

Afternoon Treats

Washington DC business conferences and sightseeing can be hungry work, and a snack is a welcome sight when you return to the house after a day of meetings, museums and monuments. Refresh and reinvigorate yourself with an afternoon cup of coffee or tea, paired with a cookie or brownie.
